How do I change default VM location of VMware Workstation via Group Policy or Script?

Hello,

I administer a Networking Lab at my school in a Windows Server 2008 R2 environment. We'd like to enable folder redirection but since VMware Workstation creates new VMs by defaults in C:\Users\Username\Documents\Virtual Machines, I can't do this or else the NAS would be overloaded.

My question is, is there a registry or config file that I could change via a script or group policy? That way all students would default their VM install to another location.
